If your device is functioning properly, we do not recommend performing a firmware update.Both the device and firmware are developed through continuous iterations, and installing firmware that is not specifically compatible with your device may cause malfunction or even permanent damage.

Update steps:
 Confirm your camera power port is  USB-C according to picture above, then download the firmware to your computer.

F9 Firmware Update

Update steps:

1. Download the zip file "F9_20230605.zip" to your computer.

2. Unzip the camera firmware "SigmastarUpgradeSD_SSC8826.bin"  to your computer.

3. Connect the SD card to your computer with a card reader. 

4. Copy the firmware inside to the SD card.

5. Insert the SD card back into the dashcam.

F4 Firmware Update

Update steps:

1. Download the zip file "F4_20240830.7z" to your computer.

2. Unzip the camera firmware "FW98565A.bin"  to your computer.

3. Connect the SD card to your computer with a card reader. 

4. Copy the firmware inside to the SD card.

5. Insert the SD card back into the dashcam.
