What Is Sony IMX678 Sensor?
The IMX678 is a high-performance image sensor developed by Sony for advanced 4K imaging applications, known for using stacked STARVIS 2 technology to improve image quality and reduce noise, even in low-light conditions.
The sensor features higher resolution, enhanced HDR (High Dynamic Range) capabilities, and fast autofocus performance, making it suitable for use in devices like smartphones, security cameras, and dash cameras.
What Is eMMC 5.1 Built-In Storage?
eMMC 5.1 (Embedded MultiMediaCard) is a type of internal storage commonly used in smartphones, tablets, but F77 innovatively uses it as a built-in storage for dash cam.
It integrates both flash memory and a flash memory controller in a single package, making it compact and efficient.
eMMC 5.1 is much higher than traditional SD cards in various parameters. Some key parameters of eMMC 5.1 include:
- Sequential read speeds: up to 240 MB/s, 10x faster than SD card.
- Sequential write speeds: up to 160 MB/s, 10x faster than SD card.
- Lifespan: up to 100,000 Read/Wirte, 10x durable than SD card.
- Capacity: typically ranges from 16 GB to 256 GB.
Do I Have To Buy Extra SD Card For F77?
No, the F77 comes with 128GB/256GB of free built-in storage, just like when you purchase a 128GB/256GB phone or tablet. In principle, the F77 does not require an additional SD card.
However, the F77 has an SD card slot, which is useful for customers who need to transfer recorded videos to a SD card as backups, and it also supports reading and playing videos from the SD card.
How To Activate Parking Monitor?
Please connect the Hardwire Kit to your vehicle's fuse box. This allows the Dash Cam to protect your vehicle while parked without draining your battery.
Can I Install The Rear Camera Outside Of The Car?
No, the 4K rear camera of F77 isnot waterproof, so please install it inside the of the car, usually on rear windshield.
Can F77 use the power cord of other dash cam?
The F77 host can use the power cable of other models of redtiger dashcams (such as F7N series products), but their rear cameras are not compatible. This means that if you directly replace the originally installed dashcam with F77, the 4K rear camera will not be available. We recommend that you re-arrange the cables.
Can the front and rear cameras record together?
Sure,The front and rear dual cameras can record and display the images on the screen at the same time.
What does the Hardwire Kit do? Do I have to instaall it?
Installing the Hardwire Kit is a prerequisite for you to activate the parking monitoring function. If you do not install the Hardwire Kit, the parking monitoring function will not work. If you find it difficult and troublesome to install, you can go to a car repair shop and ask a professional to install it for you.

Dashcam quality is good, purchased it believing on brand name. Issues: 1. Every time I start my car, it asks for WiFi connection. 2. I have Honda Amaze, Indian cars are not listed in vehicle list. 3. Voice commands are not working properly.

The device is good. There is one severe limitation though. It has internal memory where all videos are recorded. Butvthere is no option to duplicate those into an external micro SD card. I have to individually copy them manually. This is bad for someone like me who wants to create travel video... Please provide an option to duplicate what was created in internal memory into SD card. Even if that means last two videos will only be available in internal memory

The product is performing well so far, and with a 2-year warranty, it gives added confidence in its reliability. I decided to purchase it after watching several positive reviews on YouTube. While it is on the expensive side, the premium build quality clearly reflects its value. It is a hardwired, dual-channel dash cam that meets my expectations at this stage. I will be able to provide a more comprehensive review after using it for about six months.

Please provide a CPL filter for the device. It is so unfortunate that Redtiger is not making a CPL filter for a premium cost device, with which clarity of the video can be increased a lot.

I am very happy with product, but little disappointed that in this high cost dash cam we do not have realtime gps tracking, video can be accessible thru cloud based system instead of wifi connectivity and then you can access the videos.

The GPS is not for location tracking when the car is with someone else since the connectivity (wifi) to the device is possible only when close to car.

It's great dashcam. Only suggestion is to improve the mobile app and there should be an option to autosync rhe recording with phone. Downloading each 1 min video in phone is not practical
