Does this dash cam record when my car is parked and turned off?
Yes! Our dash cam features a 24-hour Parking Monitor. To use this feature, the dash cam needs to be connected to your car's battery using a dedicated Hardwire Kit . Once hardwired, it will automatically record any bumps or collisions while your car is parked, without draining your car battery thanks to its low-voltage protection.
How clear is the 4K video quality at night? Can it read license plates?
The Redtiger F7N-A is equipped with the industry-leading Sony STARVIS 2 sensor. This provides ultra-clear 4K (front) resolution with Super Night Vision. It effectively balances light and dark areas, ensuring license plates and road signs are clearly readable even in low-light conditions or completely dark roads.
Is it difficult to install the front and rear dash cam by myself? Do I need a professional?
Not at all! Most of our customers install the dash cam themselves within 20-30 minutes. The package includes a trim tool and detailed instructions to help you easily hide the wires behind your car's interior trim. You simply plug it into your car's cigarette lighter. For the rear camera, you can easily mount it inside your rear windshield.
Do I have to manually delete videos when the SD card is full?
No manual deletion is needed. The dash cam features Seamless Loop Recording, which means it will automatically overwrite the oldest unprotected videos with the newest ones when the memory card is full. However, if the G-sensor detects a collision, that specific video will be locked and will not be overwritten. (We recommend using a U3 class MicroSD card, up to 512GB).
Can I view and download the dash cam footage directly to my smartphone?
Yes! The F7N-A comes with built-in Wi-Fi. You can easily connect the dash cam to our free Redtiger App on your iOS or Android phone. From the app, you can view real-time footage, playback locked videos, and quickly download evidence directly to your phone to share with your insurance company or the police.
Will this dash cam survive extreme heat in the summer or freezing winters?
Yes, it is built to withstand extreme weather. Instead of a traditional lithium battery, this dash cam uses a built-in Supercapacitor. This makes it highly heat-resistant and safe to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -4°F to 149°F (-20°C to 65°C), significantly extending the lifespan and reliability of the device.

F7NA is a really good Dashcam, and it works great. Was looking for one with Super capacitor and this met all my requirements. ADAS is a bit annoying, but something I can learn to live with. Have to say it has exceeded my expectations. I haven’t hard wired it as my car is an EV and still under warranty. The rear cam clarity is only 1080p which is a bit less. 1440p would’ve been great. Other than that, I’m satisfied.
The video quality and the clarity is awesome. The installation was easy, referring to the installation videos from Redtiger.
Overall, the video quality is excellent. The number plates are easily readable in both daytime and nighttime footage captured by the front camera. The rear camera offers average image quality, but it still performs better than most other dashcams in this segment. The app works perfectly fine and is easy to use. One minor issue is that the dashcam sometimes has trouble restarting when the power supply resets after the engine is cranked.

Great experience purchasing the redtiger
I’ve been using the Redtiger dash cam, and overall, I’m very impressed with it. The live preview on the dash cam display doesn’t look that great, but once you download the recorded footage, the video quality is really good and sharp. One small issue I’ve noticed is that sometimes after switching the car off and starting it again, the display doesn’t turn on, while the blue indicator light keeps blinking. I’m hoping the camera is still recording properly during those instances. Apart from that, the recording quality is top-notch for the price we paid. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend the Redtiger dash cam.

Great dash cam indeed. After deep search, i finally ordered and got this dash cam. I also ordered same brand of OBD hardwire kit to have surveillance during parking mode. This combination works too good in my TATA NEXON 2026 model. Can order blindly.
Bought the Redtiger F7NA. Installed it with the Parking Mode harness by myself at home. The Camera works great. Wish the rear had more clarity. The suction cup needs some right mounting else it falls off. Ensure no dust is caught on the rear section for a faster mounting experience.
